About USM Haller

USM Haller is more than a furniture system – it is a statement of timeless elegance and technical perfection. Since 1965 it has defined the standard for modular design, combining function with unmistakable aesthetics. Made in Switzerland, it stands for uncompromising quality, precise engineering and a formal language that adapts to any environment without losing character.

In 2001, the USM Haller furniture system was included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Since 1988 it has been recognised as a work of applied art. A distinction that underlines its iconic status. No other furniture system combines longevity, flexibility and design with such assurance.

Our relationship with USM

Thanks to the intelligent ball connector system, system elements can be seamlessly extended and rearranged. This architectural logic shapes living spaces, law firms, museums and showrooms and forms the basis of our work. Since 2022, ries+kramer® has developed and produced refined editions of the classic in close dialogue with USM.
