Inspired by the flawless surface of fine concert grand pianos, we developed a glossy black piano lacquer optimised for the surface of USM shelves. A special lacquering process creates an exceptional depth of colour that reflects light softly and produces an exceptionally elegant surface. As with a piano, this surface requires particular care to preserve its flawless look. The lacquer is sensitive to scratches and fingerprints, but rewards the right treatment with a timeless aura and a luxurious feel.
